MCCONNELL 5 YEARS SHERRY FINISH

A five-year-old Irish blended whiskey matured in first-fill bourbon barrels before being finished in Oloroso sherry casks. The nose reveals dried figs, currants, dark chocolate, cinnamon and nutmeg, with a subtle touch of fresh leather. The palate brings brown sugar, dark cherries, black raspberry, rich red apple and dark chocolate, leading to a lingering finish of oak, clove and gentle spice. Bottled at 46% ABV and non-chill filtered.
