Created to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Barceló Imperial, this limited-edition rum is a masterpiece of Dominican craftsmanship. Produced from carefully selected reserves, it undergoes double aging in American and French oak casks before resting for an extended period in European oak vats, resulting in exceptional depth, elegance, and complexity.
Bright copper-brown in color, it reveals luxurious aromas of crème brûlée, caramelized raisins, dried cherries, and warm spices. The palate is smooth and semi-dry, offering rich layers of dried fruit, roasted nuts, fine oak, and delicate spice, leading to a long, refined finish with notes of pepper leaf and elegant tobacco. Bottled at 43% ABV, it is best enjoyed neat as a true sipping rum.
