The “Georgius Castriotus Scanderbeg” distillery has been producing fine and quality brandy for more than seventy years. For a long time this iconic Brandy has been a symbol of Albanian premium quality products. Awarded with multiple international awards and having an acclaimed image in Europe and mostly in the Balkans, “Skenderbeu” is the most exported Albanian products ever and the most sought-after brandy by the tourists in the region.\u003cbr\u003eTaking these reasons in consideration, Vatra was chosen to create a new packaging which means a new identity for this product after more than 50 years. Part of the challenge was suggesting a unique shape for the bottle to go along with the new label and reflect the quality of the product itself. For the shape we were inspired by the traditional designs of the windows of Scanderbeg Castle in Kruja, combining them with the lower part of his iconic helmet. In order to maintain the connection with the brand we echoed in the top of the label the initial logo of the Distillery (also designed by our agency. Other details incorporate graphic elements with brandy-like colors to elevate the sophistication and perception of the bottle. We chose a classic font and a chromatic palette in white and gold colors to give the label a premium assessment.
