This specially labelled Frapin Chateau de Fontpinot XO was released to celebrate the expression’s 100th anniversary by bringing back the original 1920s graphic design. First created in 1923 by Pierre Frapin at the family-owned Grande Champagne estate, this very old Cognac has been distilled, aged and bottled at Chateau de Fontpinot, giving away a floral aroma with autumn fruits. The complex and enchanting palate offers notes of candied fruit, dried apricots, almonds and hazelnut with an underlying gentle whiff of smoke. An exceptional Cognac that pairs well with chocolate desserts, but shines when enjoyed on its own — just like Pierre Frapin envisioned.
