Description
Filliers Dry Gin 28, originally created by Firmin Filliers in 1928, contains 28 ingredients in addition to juniper. It is a gin made in copper boilers in a small series. The Filliers have been producing jenever, the forerunner of gin, in Belgium since the 19th century, and adding gin to their repertoire was probably the next logical step. Today, their gin is still made from a secret mixture of citrus fruits, herbs and roots.
Aroma: lemon and orange peel next to juniper. A hint of cardamom and fresh coriander.
Taste: more citrus in addition to the main taste of juniper. A little creamy, gradually disappearing.
Conclusion: warm and dry.
